Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Scholastic News is a wonderful magazine that informs students about science, social studies, and current events. They provide colorful, high-interest, and engaging text to reach all students. The digital portion of this membership allows the students to watch related videos and even play related games! This magazine is a great way to engage all students with relevant stories. I know my students will love seeing the photographs and nonfiction texts!
A Scholastic News magazine subscription will keep my students up to date with current events while also exploring the history of the world.
Every month we will receive a new issue that has current, engaging articles. My students will love keeping their own copies! I would love to be able to use this with all of my students this coming year!
