Our full day pre-k program consists of 18 adorable learners. The classroom and school strives to provide the best early education program that is focusing on social and emotional growth. Our neighborhood is a wonderful place to work with children from all different socioeconomic backgrounds. Walking into our school would give you the feeling of a warm hug. Everyone really enjoys teaching and we strive to provide that positive environment! What makes them special? Just being a tiny energetic human!
My Project
Did you ever see a project come alive with felt boards and puppets? It is very exciting for four and five year olds to see how a story is put together with these items. We use puppets for the fairy tales or other popular stories but having more resources would be helpful.
Who doesn't love to watch a puppet show or felt board story!
I am requesting felt story pieces so that the students can pretend play and make up their own stories. There is different scenery in one of the sets which actually helps develop their imagination. I can't wait to use the storytelling glove to capture my little audience! I-pads and videos are not as engaging as felt board pieces.....in my opinion.
