My Project

In our preschool classroom, we believe that early literacy and social-emotional development go hand in hand. Not only do we aim to nurture a love for reading and language in our young learners, but we also strive to cultivate empathy, self-regulation, and positive relationships – essential skills for their future success.

Through this project, we hope to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that fosters both literacy growth and social-emotional well-being, ensuring that every child, including those with special needs, has access to the resources they need to thrive.

We understand that every child is unique, and we strive to create an environment that celebrates diversity and meets the individual needs of all learners. By incorporating these resources, we aim to foster a love for reading and storytelling inclusively and engagingly. Books are a wonderful way to discuss and help develop social-emotional competencies vital for building healthy relationships and managing emotions. This project will also provide accessible learning materials and accommodations for children with special needs.
