My Students

Have you ever heard of students, who loved to learn, went to great school, but had disabilities that prevented them from holding a book, for example?

My students love reading!

Listening to stories is their only way to learn the required curriculum at hand. Based on the nature of their disabilities, my students have very limited opportunities to explore and experience the love of high quality literature for language arts, science, social studies, and mathematics. We have read many books this year, but the students would like to have more high quality stories.

My Project

Due to their disabilities, our Story Time is the major source of my students™ learning opportunities; therefore, reading high quality stories is essential to complete our daily lessons. Reading the œChildhood of Famous Americans series and other science books is a fun way to learn history and science and is appropriate to the grade-level of my students. These books will expose my students to the stories of important figures of the American history, thereby providing them with essential knowledge of our past. The science books will reveal important scientific information that is required to know in the State of Texas.

Please help my students to have these excellent resources to further their education.

Reading is the most important building block of education of all children, and my students would especially benefit from these wonderful literature written for children.
