Help me give my students the opportunity to learn to read and understand science concepts through a reality learning tool! This software engages students in reading short stories about animals that spring to life!
My school is a diverse urban school with children ranging from the kindergarten to eighth grade. This year I will be working across multiple grade levels servicing our divers learners and general education students at the elementary level. I will have the opportunity to work with a group of students with various backgrounds, goals and abilities. Our inclusive classrooms support all learners.
These genuine students support one another on a daily basis and demonstrate a strong sense of community.
They are kind, creative and eager to learn.
Our classrooms will benefit most from the newest technology-- stories about animals that come alive! As the students piece together the word cards to form sentences, the animals spring to life becoming 3D flying, jumping, eating, or sitting right on the screen depending on the sentence. This interactive program teaches letter-sound relationship, word recognition, and understanding of science concepts such as habitats. In addition, it includes several games and activities that allow all students to enjoy the process of learning.
Using the newest technology, these stories about animals will come alive!
As a diverse learning teacher that visits several primary classrooms, this program will be used across multiple general education classrooms as well as resources rooms at our school.
