This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

R. Elementary Students are incredibly passionate about learning! Our students come from all over the world, and speak many languages such as Arabic, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Mandarin, and Spanish to name a few! They are caring, creative, and curious!

If a new student or faculty member joins our community, Redding students are welcoming, generous, and accommodating.

Located in the San Francisco Tenderloin district, our school serves a diverse population of students with varying needs. Scholars at Redding School are motivated to learn, explore, and promote positive community values in and out of school.

My Project

What do Writers Workshop, Math, Art, Science, Social Studies, Language Studies, Health, Social Emotional Learning and Reading all have in common? In each of these subjects there are opportunities for students to explore and bring real-life stories to life! First grade classrooms need ample supplies to get students playing, creating, and working in collaborative ways! This project is designed to bring more hands-on tools into my classroom such as Legos, cookbooks, and movable glue! Let's get my students' creativity flowing by giving them choice, time to explore, and ample opportunities to tell their own stories. Invest in student imagination by helping us thrive!
