My Students

My kindergarten classroom consists of 21 energetic students. Each student has their own individual learning needs. Most of my students come from low economic homes and support from the community is often helpful. This year we are going to have a lot of fun learning through hands-on experiences and wonderful opportunities while keeping in CDC guidelines to help keep us safe!

My Project

This year I am working with an amazing group of students. My classroom is a community of 21 students who each have their own individual personalities and learning needs.

The materials requested in this project are to help assist my students to become independent community members of the classroom while getting learning manipulatives.

Sometimes as a solo classroom teacher, it can be hard to help aide 21 students by getting each material they may need without adult assistance. By getting these shelves it will allow my students easy access to storage bins they can get out to use independently during learning times. I currently use a clear rolling cart from Michaels, that students often struggle to put back because they have to align the buckets with the racks. Oftentimes, I need to aide them and the students get frustrated. This new shelf will allow for independence.
