Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am new to 6th grade science and have little to no supplies in my new position.

Help me give my students a wheeled storage rack for lab equipment and dry erase markers for presenting their learning!

The Seville Classics Solid Steel Wire Shelving Storage Unit Adjustable Shelves Organizer Rack is wheeled and will be combined with "washbins" that hold supplies such as thermometers, clamps, tealight candles, and any other lab resource needed for that day or week.

Students will help prepare the lab equipment during "pre lab" days and wheel out the materials and supplies on this "bakers rack" from the storage closet to the classroom itself. Two day labs will be easy to break down and return to the wheeled shelving unit as it is wide enough so as to not tip over and moves safely.

The Expo Dry Erase Markers (Chisel Tips) 36 pack will be used for students to share-out their learning from labs onto dry erase boards that the whole class can learn from!

Finally, a nice "job" can be given to our special needs students as they wheel the Seville Classics Solid Steel Wire Shelving in and out of storage for the day.

Mr. Schoonveld will only receive his materials if this project is fully funded by July 20.
