My Project

Our school is currently exploring nutrition and cooking in the classrooms. We use the Dr. Yum curriculum which allows students to cook in the classrooms following healthy

studies each month and explore new foods.

We are currently needing a refrigerator to store food items for each recipe. Most of the recipes require fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as many nutritional items that have to be refrigerated. Classrooms take turns cooking and it can be hard to store the foods to keep them fresh without a refrigerator large enough. This item would ensure food stays at a safe temperature for our students to continue this curriculum and learn about cooking and healthy eating in the classroom.
