My Students
My students come from low-income families. 100% of our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Students are not always able to access some of the resources that would help them succeed educationally.
My students are thankful for all resources that help support their learning.
They are eager to learn and thankful for any opportunity they are given. These students need to be exposed to diverse, rich, and meaningful content. This can only be done with the use of meaningful resources that make learning easier and more engaging.
My Project
We have been very lucky to have a lot of books come into our classroom lately. With Accelerated Reader being a prominent program at our school, we need the books to be easily found. This means I need the books to be overly organized so that students can navigate my library. I would much rather them spend more time reading books than attempting to locate books and wasting time. These bookshelves will help provide the needed storage and would be the perfect addition to our classroom and our classroom library!
