Students can use the iPad to work in centers. There are a ton of apps I love to use to help work on math and reading skills. My students consist of many English language learners and we can work on so many different skills to help them learn and grow. Having an iPad in the classroom will help in more ways than one. This tool can also be used to help in the library. We can keep track of the books that are checked out and checked in. This allows me to monitor whether students are reading books that are appropriate for their level.
