My Project

This is an extension of our care closet and the project aims to design and install a centralized, heavy-duty locking storage cabinet in the school to ensure equal and secure access to essential learning materials for all students. To keep the environment organized and stress-free, the cabinet will feature dedicated, labeled compartments equipped with secure combination locks, safeguarding shared resources like pens, pencils, notebooks, sketchpads, binders as well as individual student backups. By implementing this secure storage solution, we eliminate the distraction of misplaced or damaged items, reduce the financial burden on families by preserving community resources, and teach students valuable habits regarding organization and mutual respect for shared property.

To accommodate a student body of 300 students across all subjects, the project will need to scale up from a single classroom unit to a centralized, high-capacity storage suite—such as a series of durable, cabinetry system.

This cabinet hub will be strategically zoned by academic discipline, featuring heavy-duty, industrial laminate cabinetry to withstand high-frequency daily use. By housing everything from graphing calculators and lab safety goggles to art portfolios organized location, the school can efficiently manage bulk inventory, minimize clutter in individual classrooms, and ensure that every single student has equitable, barrier-free access to the tools they need to succeed in any subject.
