Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a diverse population of 16 Pre-K students. They come from countries in the Middle East, India, Vietnam, Mexico, and more. All my students are second language learners and come from low-income families. In fact, many of these families are recent immigrants from their counties.

My 3-5 years olds are energetic and inquisitive students.

They come to school with smiles and are ready to learn each day.

My Project

This January as we start our Spring semester our schools are faced with the omicron viruses. Everyday the students comes in with eager smiles and faces ready for a new day but are faced with missing teachers and friends.

Our priority right now is to provide a safe and inviting environment for our students and we need face masks, Clorox wipes, gloves and socks for our protection.

We are so fortunate to have DonorsChoose and donors that can provide these health and safety products for us. Thank you DonorsChoose!
