This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Everyday, I welcome a group of bilingual students who appreciate everything that they are exposed to. Some of my students are economically disadvantaged with little or no ability to speak or read the English language. They are students whose background knowledge is limited. However, these factors are not an impediment for them to learn and succeed. They come everyday eager to learn and give one hundred percent.

My students are anxious and impatient to learn everyday!

They are willing to put in the extra effort to succeed in life. They are an amazing group and I am so lucky to have a group that is thrilled to learn new things everyday.

My Project

COVID-19 has affected every teacher, and how their classroom runs. As students are returning after the winter break for in- person instruction, I want to be able to provide them with all the safety and clearing measurements. I want to proved every student with a reusable water bottle that they will keep in class so they do not use the drinking fountain. I also want to provide them with a pencil bag and a plastic envelope to keep their materials safe.
