My Project

As a public charter school, we receive less fund than a traditional public school in South Carolina. When it comes to furniture, we sometimes have to piece things together with what we have, which isn't always conducive to how children learn (COVID hasn't been to helpful either). I teach 3rd grade math and science, which requires a lot of getting up and down, cooperative learning, and being able to freely move while sitting, trying to bit be disruptive. I have always thought stools were a great solution to this situation. There are some students who hate to even sit down, but stools give those type of student the freedom to stand while still technically sitting (it gives the teacher a feel of 100% compliance along students and still being fair to all in case there is that one that always like to stand.
