My Project
I teach 2nd grade at a lower socioeconomic school. My students come to school with many different needs beyond academics. Although not all needs can be addressed in the classroom setting, hunger, motivation and focus can be.
My students at times need a little extra boost to get through their day. By providing access to nutritional snacks, my little ones can concentrate on their studies instead of listening to their growling bellies. No student can or will think about learning if their basic needs aren’t met. Help me, help my students by restocking our snacks.
