Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, I have implemented the famous "care closet" idea in my classroom. I have a cabinet with drawers labeled Period Products, First Aid, Hair, Hygiene, and snacks. I have stocked this in the past with help from Donor's Choose and from my Amazon Wish List, but most of the funding has come from my own pocket. As the semester wraps up, I am needing a full refresh and restock to keep us going strong through the rest of the year!

I provide these basic supplies for my students to be have their needs met so they can be successful in the classroom, so that they are comfortable and ready to learn.
