My Project

We’re looking for support to purchase an embroidery machine that would give our students the chance to learn real, hands-on skills in a way that feels meaningful and engaging.

With this equipment, students would be able to design and create their own apparel and products while learning skills tied to organization, responsibility, and basic business concepts.

It also opens the door for students to gain experience with tasks that mirror real job settings—things like following production steps, working as a team, and taking pride in a finished product.

We also don’t currently have a school store, and this would give us the opportunity to create a student-run one. Students would be involved in everything—from designing items to helping manage and sell them—which gives them a sense of ownership and a chance to see their work come to life.

This would be such a meaningful way to give students opportunities they may not otherwise have, while helping them build confidence and skills they can carry with them beyond the classroom.
