This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Kindergarten is the magical grade where everything begins to click. In the beginning of the year students get adjusted to school without naps, and quickly realize centers do not look the same as they did in Pre-K. With practice, they get better navigating a room and working in a center that's assigned and before you know it - it's May and almost time for first grade!
Bring on the incentives!
Treasure box is a treat in our class and students get to visit every Friday. Many of the snacks are class favorites and will be used for celebrations as we wind down the year. The stickers will give our quickly dwindling supply a boost with lots of student favorites. The toys will be added to the treasure box as a sweet surprise for our last few visits this school year.
