Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

All of the items will go into bags that students will receive as they walk out of their Stepping Up (graduation) program. Each child will receive 1 of each item.

Our school has a limited amount of money to purchase the items for the students as they move on to middle school.

Parents already pay a small fee, this gift would add more cost to Parents and we are trying to avoid that.

Some students come from families with little to nothing, this may be the only gift they receive for moving to middle school.
