My students need a 3D Printing Pen, Snap Circuit adapter, the Rosie Revere Engineer, a plastic organizer as well as a model balancing bird. This will help expose the students to new concepts and ways of using the Engineering Design Process to further their creativity.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Steve Jobs said that “the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.” By learning how to use 3D Printing pens and understand energy transfer my students can learn how to create products that can benefit society and our environment.
Our school is a Title I District with over 72% of the students receiving free or reduced lunch.
Our district is surrounded by different towns whose students' feed into a regional high school district that our students also attend. The school district has never had a Technology Education class before and we would like to use this funding to create one, in order to provide our students with the best opportunity to become technologically literate citizens. This funding would help close the gap for our students by giving them equal access to 21st Century technology literacy skills. We have many bright and dedicated students who would enjoy learning about freestyle 3D Printing Pens, energy transfer concepts as well as ways to improve their organizational skills.
My Project
My students are going to use these materials to extend their knowledge of STEM in the classroom. The students will be exposed to 3D printing pens and be able to create their own product using the 3D printing pen. Students will be able to reduce the amount of battery waste by using the Snap Circuit Battery Eliminator. I will be able to teach the students about integrating STEM with alternative energies. Finally, I will be able to teach the students how to organize their materials in the plastic organizer.
These donations will drastically improve my STEM classroom because it will expose the students to new concepts and ways of using the Engineering Design Process to further their creativity.
I have many students who are very artistic and by using the 3D printing pen to bring their sketches to life, it will help them realize their full potential and creative thinking. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated from both myself and my students. Please help fund our project!
