Our school is a Title I District with over 72% of the students receiving free or reduced lunch. Our district is surrounded by different towns whose students' feed into a regional high school district that our students also attend. The school district has never had a Technology Education class before and we would like to use this funding to create one, in order to provide our students with the best opportunity to become technologically literate citizens. This funding would help close the gap for our students by giving them equal access to 21st Century technology literacy skills. We have many bright and dedicated students who would enjoy learning about robotics and improve their organizational skills.
