My Project

The STEM Trades Innovation Expo transforms middle school science into an authentic career-connected learning experience where students explore engineering, skilled trades, manufacturing, energy systems, and technology through hands-on STEM challenges. Students need programming materials, circuitry supplies, presentation boards, and tools to create their projects and use for testing prototypes.

By integrating physical science, Earth science, coding, quantitative reasoning, and workforce development, the initiative creates meaningful pathways between classroom learning and high-demand careers while fostering student innovation, problem-solving, and community partnerships.

Students will build arcade games, a manufacturing lab, an engineering center, an energy facility, a construction zone, a transportation hub, and a technology showcase. These will be ongoing projects shared with middle school students and community members.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
