Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This project will help me to create STEM bins in my classroom in order to supplement each Social Studies unit with an engaging hands-on activity!
When we help foster imagination in a student, children are better able to demonstrate critical thinking, decision-making, visualization, empathy, and understanding.
With your help, I can provide these opportunities in my Social Studies classroom!
With these extra resources, I will be able to challenge the students who are ready to be pushed and allow students to move, think critically, and engage in hands-on learning! With these resources, I will be able to help make my Social Studies classroom an interactive and engaging place that motivates students to learn in a whole new way!
