My Project

STEM Learning Project: GoPiGo Robotics Program

Using the GoPiGo system, students learn how to build the robot from the ground up and then program it using code to control its movement and behavior through a tablet or laptop.

As students progress, they move beyond basic controls and begin exploring more advanced concepts such as sensors, automation, and problem-solving through real-world challenges. They might program their robot to navigate obstacles, follow a path, or respond to its environment, helping them see how coding connects to real-life applications.

The program emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning where students actively engage in designing, testing, and improving their creations. Working both independently and in teams, they develop critical thinking, collaboration, and perseverance as they troubleshoot and refine their code.

By participating in the GoPiGo Robotics Program, students gain valuable exposure to STEM fields while building confidence in their ability to create and innovate. This experience not only supports their academic growth but also helps prepare them for future opportunities in technology-driven careers.
