My Students

I teach a wonderful group of second graders at RMES. We are in need of basic items for the classroom. We also need ready to go kits for STEM from my high ability students. My students love it when we do hands on activities. They love science and art.

I want to give my students more opportunities to learn and grow.

They have grown a lot this year in their reading and math. I know with this project, they will grow even more and be ready for third grade.

My Project

I have high ability students who need extension activities. They complete their work early and need more challenging activities to help them grow and learn.

They love to work on hands on STEM activities.

They will use these items to learn about science, math, and coding. This project with put these activities in their hands. They will be able to work independently. They will code their own programs using Scratch Jr. They will work on building structures that will survive an earthquake. These tools will help them work out their math problems.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
