STEM Projects - Encouraging Problem Solvers

My students need these 7 STEM kits to allow hands-on experiences in the classroom. These stem projects will help the students to understand and make engineering connections in each activity.

My Students

My K-2 Challenge class is a place of enrichment and discovery. Students spend the year growing and developing their thinking process to accelerated growth in academics.

My students love new learning experiences that push them to think "out of the box".

As a class, we enjoy participating in enriching whole group STEM activities that allow us to work in groups.

Students who are placed in this classroom show an exceeding advancement in their current grade. At our elementary school, we strive to push every child to their potential.

My Project

STEM projects create motivated students and an active learning environment. These projects combine Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics together and the students will benefit as they are pushed to new boundaries.

The STEM kits I've selected will naturally have students engaged in questioning, collaboration, and hands-on activities.

Students will also experience being engineers and scientists as they work together in groups to problem solve and find solutions. Students will grow throughout the year and make connections with these kits and real life situations.

Studies have shown that STEM projects should start in early elementary grades because this is when students start forming their interest in STEM identities and careers.
