This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Fractions are important because they are a math concept that students will use their whole life. Even though it can sometimes be difficult, fractions tell you what portion of a whole you need, have, or want. Fractions are used in baking to tell how much of an ingredient to use. Fractions are used in telling time; each minute is a fraction of the hour. This fraction stem bundle will be perfect for my students to use during our introduction unit. This AKJ Perfect Pairing includes a MATH hands-on product that will help bring to life the contextual learning included in the paired collection of titles and the selected individual title.
