STEM Learning For Growing Healthy Plants

Help me give my students STEM equipment to learn about the chemistry of soil in their school garden by analyzing N-P-K and pH chemical nutrients to determine what the soil needs in terms of structure.

My Project

Our diverse community of passionate learners collaborates to create a welcoming environment that promotes creativity and lifelong learning. To learn about sustainable gardening and adapt to food availability challenges caused by climate change by supporting students' needs for materials to practice food-growing management.

Students need STEM equipment for soil testing using a LaMotte Soil Testing Kit, tools toremove the soil, and micronutrients for amending a healthy growing environment.

Not only will this N-P-K and ph equipment engage students within the physical science field using hands-on experiments and analysis of data. Furthermore, this will allow us to expand our range of schoolwide initiatives and take on even more exciting projects throughout the year.
