This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our students don't have a lot of experience with animals or farms. I want to share the miracle of life by having them watch an egg hatch and turn into a chick. This will be a yearly activity that will make an impact.

I hope this will be an experience they will remember.

Our 1st graders have a literacy unit about birds. Although this is for them, I will have every grade in my school involved in the chicks and watching them grow. Please consider donating to this project or my other projects. Thanks
