Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 2nd grade students are energetic, curious, and eager to learn about the world around them. Many come from diverse backgrounds and do not always have access to hands-on science and engineering experiences outside of school. I am hoping to bring more STEM learning into our classroom by providing engaging materials for exploring motion and problem solving using hands-on manipulatives.

These resources will allow my students to build simple machines, investigate, problem solve, and work together on creative engineering challenges.

By using these materials, my students will strengthen their problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills—all while having fun and discovering the excitement of science and engineering. Your support will help ensure that every child in my class has the opportunity to be a creator, inventor, and confident learner.
