My Project

5th graders are about to take the WCAS standardized science test for the first time. We love science in our classroom, and our students can't get enough.

Help prepare students for testing with a rock tumbler so we can learn about erosion!

As well as incentives, snacks and classroom basics to keep us from running out of gas. A 5th grader's whole day is different if they don't have a snack in the morning, or a mint during testing. After 6 years, our trusty pencil sharpener and stapler have gone kaput. Many are surprised to learn that these items are not furnished by the school district- but the only things the district supplies are desks, chairs and copy paper. Everything else is up to us!
