My Project

The items in this project will support STEM learning and specifically growth in mathematics. From STEM manipulatives, to small group math activities, these materials will help my students grow as scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians.

The STEM materials will be used for science and engineering activities, inside recess, and STEM stations.

During morning meeting, as a group, we will use the calendar and place value chart to keep track of our school days as well as practicing using and understanding how a calendar works.

The math manipulatives will be used during whole and small groups to engage learning and give students a hands on experience with all things math.

My goal is for students to be able to use these materials to grow in all areas of the classroom including working together in groups, building community, learning science, being an engineer, and learning math skills that will last a lifetime.
