As a class, we will be able to use our whole group rug for learning together! This rug will give us an area to have morning meetings, have class discussions, and so much more. Every student can learn, just not the same way. The listening to reading materials, cassette/CD player and headphones, will allow students to listen to their favorite books during balanced literacy workshop. It will help students with reading comprehension, learning new vocabulary, and boosting all areas of literacy. Finally, my class needs a pencil sharpener that will allow them to always be able to write with a sharp tip! Pencils are an important part of our school day, so this is a must-have. I am beyond excited about this new adventure!
