My Project

A STEM education can provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in college and careers in the 21st century. STEM learning can help students develop important critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These games can be a great resource for engaging a First Grader's brain while also having fun.

This project is geared to support the purpose behind indoor recess within the classroom.

This project will allow students to have access to many different STEM games and STEM projects within the classroom to use during indoor recess. These games will provide hands-on materials and items for students to use and engage with in many different ways.

All of the games will share different and meaningful purposes! Some of the games will be utilized to allow students to build materials and objects. I am asking for LEGOs, Play-Doh, magnetic tiles, and other STEM games to use during indoor recess during the winter months. I am also asking for prizes like stickers, glasses, cups, and hair bows to go into my prize box to promote good behavior in the classroom.

Finally, and most importantly, all of the STEM games will be used to build community, sharing skills, and working together skills.
