My Students

I am a first-year teacher preparing supplies for my classroom this fall. This year will be my first year in my classroom. I have 25 first grade students that I was lucky enough to student teach last year while they were in Kindergarten.

These kiddos love to learn and experience education but need the resources to do so.

They are such an exciting group of students that have a vast range of learning needs. I teach at a Title I school, which means we have a predominantly low-income group of students.

My Project

I am requesting headphones, various STEM materials, magnetic tiles, and other essentials for the classroom to enhance their learning. Students will use these materials to incorporate technology.

The laminating pouches will help me easily make different STEM worksheets reusable.

The headphones will allow students to use the iPads for different activities without causing disruptions in the classroom. The iPad charging station will help keep their iPads running for activities. The magna tiles, blocks, velcro, magnets, tape and cars are materials we use to build our engineering creations. The math pop it games will become a part of our math block and students will be able to use them to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication and counting in an engaging way.

These materials will enhance my students' learning in an engaging way. Thank you so much for your donations!
