This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students enjoy learning. Elementary students love to learn and have fun in the process. Making learning fun keeps them engaged. They need more hands-on and visual activities to meet the various learning needs and goals. They enjoy the opportunity to work both independently and in small learning groups.
My students are advanced learners who need to be challenged academically.
They are gifted learners and advanced learners who will benefit from an academically challenging environment with opportunities for projects and activities that keep them engaged. They need to be able to use what they learn in class and take it home and into the real world.
My students come from diverse backgrounds. Many of my students have not had the opportunity to have hands-on activities in the last year of virtual learning. STEM bins will give them a chance to be creative while learning.
My Project
The materials in this project will allow for easy access to resources for my students. My students love STEM activities that give them a challenge. The containers and lids in this project will allow us to create STEM bins that will store our materials that students will be able to grab and use the contents for an extra challenge.
My students love the extra challenge materials that will be stored in the STEM bins to allow them to have fun while using creativity and critical thinking skills.
STEM bins are the perfect way for students to "stretch their brains". They will be excited to use them.
