These classroom materials are consumable and need to be replaced yearly. These are materials that we consistently use on a daily basis in class. We are in a title 1 school district so materials and supplies are hard to come by from the district. The materials will facilitate engineering related project showing how our students use the engineering design process to solve real world problems. Students are not only learning engineering skills and concepts but everyday skills such as team building, communication, critical thinking. The project foster this style of learning and encourages our students to pursue a career in the trades.
The materials such as the foam board, glue sticks, paint and paint brushes we use for almost all of our projects.
The safety glasses and cutting mats are needed to ensure that our students are safe when operating the tools and machinery in class. The double sided tape and light strips are used to decorate the classrooms and provide the warm welcome for students. The blue painter tape and 3D printer nozzles are for the our Ender 3D printers that we use to do 3D prototyping.
