Help me give my students a wide variety of STEM materials. I want to create STEM bins in my classroom to help students to explore and create different things.
Fourth grade is an exciting year. Students are learning and growing in many different ways. I have a group of wonderful fourth graders at a very large elementary school on the south side of Indy. There are around 25 students in my class and over 900 students in the entire school. These students come from varying socioeconomic backgrounds.
My students come to school each day ready to learn and explore.
They are very inquisitive and they are always asking questions.
My Project
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. These materials are going to be used to create STEM bins for the classroom. The students will use these bins during our science time and during morning exploration time.
The students will love building and exploring with these different materials.
The students will be given the materials, task cards, and different problem-solving activities to complete. Students will also be able to work with Sphero and learn to code. These materials are going to help students become engaged in creative, complex tasks and will encourage problem-solving. I can't wait to see these materials in the hands of my students.
