My Students

I have a classroom full of STEM-loving fifth-grade students. I need to keep their attention by upgrading the STEM activities in the classroom. I want my students to have every opportunity to learn by using a wide-range of science, technology, engineering, and mathematical tools.

Our small southern Indiana school is a school-wide Title I facility in which funds are limited.

My fifth-grade students love learning. I know that my students learn more when they are given a variety of learning opportunities. They love using science, technology, engineering, and mathematical tools.

My Project

My students have the opportunity use manipulatives to learn in whole group, in small groups, with partners, and through independent study. Having a variety of tools for them to use during learning time is important. Fifth-grade students love using their hands to learn. We do have some technology is the classroom that they love using. They would grow their STEM knowledge with LittleBits. LittleBits uses power, input, output, and wires to focus their learning.

My students will be able to enhance their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematical approaches by manipulating the LittleBIts pieces.
