My Project

My students are engineers, biologist, computer science wizards and so much more!!! I have been working hard to create a better learning environment for my students. Recently, I attended a national summit for Project Lead The Way and brought home so many new ideas to incorporate into my science classroom.

Small craft items can make a big differences with engineering projects!

My goal is to increase the amount of supplies students can choose from during engineering projects. Too often I run out of material that I have brought from home, these new materials will add choices beside pipe cleaners and lots of tin foil.

Items like google eyes, sequence, and tissue paper can be used by students when my students are building masks that have 'false eyes' to scare away other animals. The dot dobber in multiple colors can be utilized by my youngest students to help with adding a pop of color to projects, especially ones that include popsicle sticks.

Craft items seems so simple, but are going to make a huge impact on my science classroom and students final projects.
