Help me give my students tools for open ended STEM projects in my new SEL/STEM classroom including a membership to Carly and Adam's STEM Club.

My Project

These STEM tools, books and resources are going to engage over 400 students in our new SEL/STEM classroom. Open ended building tools will give students an opportunity to collaborate and communicate their ideas. The TPT gift card will be used for a membership to Carly and Adam's STEM Club which gives me access to an extensive library of resources and over 30 hours of Professional Development! I love a meaningful PD experience and am so looking forward to learning from experts in STEM and SEL education.

In my new SEL/STEM classroom, students will develop a growth mindset, problem solving, social awareness and innovative thinking through their STEM learning.

This is important for students in their social-emotional development, as well as in their development as creative and critical thinkers.

Open ended STEM tools will give students opportunities to collaborate as they build and design together. Perseverance is a huge part of developing a growth mindset. Engaging in engineering design challenges gives students the chance to try something, fail, and try again. In STEM, students are learning from their mistakes and revisiting the problem, a valuable skill for the future.I look forward to seeing what my students will create together using these tools and resources.
