Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These STEM activities will provide a chance to enhance students' learning in the classroom. During independent time, students will be able to choose the STEM activity of their choice and create different projects that they will design. They can take these projects and share with the class the process behind their design, how it can be used, what items were needed, and improvements they could implement.

I want to keep the students motivated by recognizing different ways STEM can be incorporated into their daily lives.

These various projects throughout the year will provide students with the insight behind the scientific process. They will be able to learn throughout the year each step to creating more elaborate projects and being able to collaborate with their peers. This truly will be an enriching process for my students! I am also requesting flexible seating options for my students. The beanbag chair, reading pillows, and small carpet will provide students with freedom and flexibility when completing their work.
