These STEM kits will help my kindergarteners learn to build, design, and invent creations using STEM resources!
My students' love building with STEM activities and with this project we can plan a weekly activity.
Each morning my students use a STEM tub to play with to start their morning. This activity has greatly increased my students' attendance and coming to school on time to be able to choose their tubs. They can't choose the same activity two days in a row, ensuring they have to choose something different to use and build with.
These STEM bins including building blocks, building connectors, and marble connectors, will help my students invent their own creations. They will get to build and design activities and use markers and pens to write and draw their inventions.
I am excited to offer hands-on manipulatives to my students to help them feel successful as builders by having different choices for them to choose from daily.
Since a lot of the activities don't come in their own plastic tubs, I want to make sure my students have a sturdy box to store the activities in.
I also am asking for a calendar and planner to help create a weekly schedule of what we can build with the STEM activities. Having a plan for what to create each week could be like the month of October, they will build something Halloween like. By having it mapped out, I won't have duplicates for their projects. It will make us a lot more organized and planned for the year.
The markers and pens will be what I use to map out or weekly, monthly, and yearly projects in regards to STEM activities.
Students get rewarded with different candies for their time, effort, and plans on details while being STEM engineers.
