My students need STEAM'in up for WIN (What I Need) with different building and constructing tools to problem solve and become little engineers.

My Students

I have a very vibrant and outgoing group of 2nd graders who are eager to explore and be creative. They love to share their ideas and are very thoughtful in what we are doing. They are always ready to participate.

It is really exciting to see what this gifted class will create and discover.

They love the STEM bins so far and are really adventurous. We plan to do a lot of fun projects and work on everyday world problems.

My Project

As a gifted class, I need some great things for enrichment. The goal is for them to be critical thinkers and problem solvers for world problems. Imagine all of the things they can build with Legos! The possibilities are endless. They can build a whole city with the Engineering and Design Building Set. Along with automobiles and roller coasters. Oh my! Then we will tie this into our project for WIN. They will be doing research for their topic and these STEAM tools will help them to test their data and come up with something new and better.

With project based learning and more hands on activities, our focus is STEAM for the WIN (What I Need).

I can't wait to see what they discover, build, and invent. These STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) tools will really help them make learning fun while coming up with multiple ways to create projects and meet their goals.
