Help me give my students the opportunity to not only develop their motor skills, but also create buildings from their imagination with STEAM kits, STEAM Park-Legos, and TIME for Kids.
First grade is such a special time in a child's life. They are not toddlers anymore, but still need love, support, and guidance in many ways. Our group loves to learn from one another and have meaningful conversations while learning the content areas. They are inquisitive, love project time and thrive when challenged. I want my students to have a space where they can let their imagination run wild, but also connect with what they are learning in class.
In order for me to continue providing quality material and resources for the children, I need to provide them with opportunities to work in different spaces.
Legos, STEAM kits and Time for Kids offers them to opportunity to do this.
My Project
Dear Friends,
My children are inquisitive and detail orientated learners.
They love to learn about new topics and talk about it with their reading partners. Please help my kids learn more about the world around them by helping us have Time for Kids in our classroom.
They also love to plan and build together. What better way to develop their motor skills! Legos are the way to go. It gives them a platform to see their imagination come to life, build their imaginary city, and encourage imaginative play and dialogue. The conversations and planning that goes into using legos helps students with socials skills such as team building, compromising, and listening skills.
My kids don't have a Science special this year. So it's up to me to provide them with authentic Science learning opportunities. These hands on kits will allow them to work in centers independently while I do experiments with a small group. It allows my kids to learn from one another and provide meaningful Science experiences at the same time
