Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a STEM/STEAM school with a focus on Global Education. However, we do not always have the necessary materials to create fun and engaging projects for our students. The items I am requesting will be used to learn about Engineering and Newton's Laws of Motion. My 5th grade students will work in small groups to create paper marble runs aka paper rollercoasters! They will use marbles to test them out and make sure that they are functional. Then our rollercoasters will then be on display for the entire school to see and even try out!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
