STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) Power!
Help me give my students a stand-up magnetic design center, accessories for our LED tablet, plus art materials to engage in Higher Order Thinking (HOT) STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) 21st Century Skills activities.
The game plan is to integrate HOTs (Higher Order Thinking Skills) with STEAMy (Science Technology Engineering Art Math) activities to take our Creative Curriculum Study Investigations up a notch to the next level.
My special needs students are making huge strides by actively engaging with modern, hands-on, authentic materials.
They would benefit greatly from replenishing the Art Center, adding technology to the Science Discovery Area and adding realia to assess math skills on the LED light tablet.
The stand-up magnetic design center will enhance the Science Discovery explorations, the LED math trays and manipulatives will facilitate authentic assessment using technology. New materials will provide for engineering designs, the art materials will be used for process art. These items will transform the classroom and make a huge difference in the success of reaching IEP goals.
