Help me give my students LEGOs, headphones, markers, and other resources for a STEAM lab and replenish a few of our frequently used items!

My Project

I'm blessed that my group of students shows such an interest in learning. I can't even imagine how that interest is going to skyrocket after I unveil my new STEAM lab to them! STEAM is a framework for learning that incorporates science, technology, engineering, art, and math to help unlock levels of problem solving, higher level thinking/understanding, and creativity in a child's mind. It engages my kinesthetic learners that don't often have the chance to learn in their preferred style. And not to mention, kids can have so much fun while learning! Most of the items listed below are the necessary manipulatives needed for my different STEAM centers. These include K'NEX, straw connectors, Play-Doh/silicone mat, magnetic tiles, Legos, and connecting stars and discs. And a few of the items are classroom materials that need replenished such as the EXPO/Mr. Sketch markers, dry erase sleeves, and earbuds. Students Pre K-2 just don't get enough exposure to science, let alone STEAM. STEAM creates innovators, future scientists/engineers, and preserves childhood imagination by strengthening their creativity. I just so badly want to give them this opportunity to see what other amazing things their developing brains are capable of!
