Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from an urban area with diverse backgrounds and cultures. Nearly all of my students are from low-income households. They are a curious group of children who are eager to learn. I want to provide them with educational and fun learning experiences.

My classroom is a place where my students will be given various opportunities to observe, investigate and learn.

School is their home away from home, and I want them to have a productive and fun-filled experience. I enjoy teaching, and I want my students to feel the same enjoyment as learners. I want the best for my students, and the materials requested will provide various opportunities in order for them to move forward on their learning path.

My Project

Every year we work towards teaching our children about Science and how to engage them and make the "Discovery" center more inviting for them. With the help of these book our children will better understand the center, and all about science in their ever day lives.

They can begin to explore more in their outside lives and bring it into the classroom to share with their friends and fellow classmates.

With the books they can learn through pictures and examples and begin to relate science and STEAM ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) to their own lives.

With this we hope to have the children engage more in the discovery center and take a better liking and grasp for knowledge for science!
